.She's a midnight scandal..

So I gratuated & I got accepted at the Art academy in the Hague! :)  
Here's a part of what I did to get accepted:

You had to make a B&W serie of at least 10 pictures, the assignment was called: 'my club'
So I made a serie of my family during a family weekend, which actually represents one day of that weekend. I wanted the pictures to show how we are as a family and what we do. That's why in most of these photos you just see them play and have fun. Yeah my family does like to play lots of family games haha. What I personally like the most about the pictures is that they're natural, nobody noticed me while take these photographs. Oh and another thing, no explanation or any words were allowed. So the photos had to speak for themselves.

I named my serie after a sign which said: Acco26, Group Kuijpers (Kuijpers is our last name)

So I hadn't told you that I'm part of an exposition with 11 contestants ('young talent'). Some of my pictures were hanging from the 22 october until today at Galerie Pennings in Eindhoven. I'm a little late with that information ;)
but there's also a competition going on! there's a 3-headed jury, who will judge our photographs & they'll give us all a report with constructive criticism. The winner will win a prize. I'm very curious about what they'll say about my pictures, not so much about if I'll win or not..

I had these new pictures hanging there, I haven't showed them here yet because of the exposition. I didn't want family and friends to only see pictures they've already seen :). I'm glad that I surprised some of them ;).

-imageshack.us did the resizing, so I hope the pictures aren't too pixelated.

Tomorrow night we (my parents, my friend Naomi & I) are heading off to France & Spain to have a lovely 3 week long vacation. We'll be riding into the sun. The weather can't be any worse than it is right now in the Netherlands. It looks like it's frickin' autumn. Cut the crap!
